This page lists a method of use with Zipato Gateway for Door / Window Sensor 7 and forms a part of the larger Door / Window Sensor 7 user guide.
After the inclusion of your Door / Window Sensor 7 in your Zipato gateway, the Door / Window Sensor 7 does not automatically show right away. You'll need to follow these steps to allow your sensor to appear properly in Zipatos interface.
1) Open the Zipato Login Page
2) Add you Login Data and Password
3) Open the Device Manager
4) Press ADD NEW DEVICE and follow the Instruction on your display.
5) To exclude or include the Door / Windows Sensor 7. press the tamper button 3x times within 1.5 seconds.
6) After inclusion, only the Tilt Sensor is displayed in the device overview.
7) Open the submenus of the sensor in the Device Manager by clicking on the texts.
8) Press the gear on the right side of Access_Control, change the Type to "Door sensor or Windows Sensor" and activate the checkbox "Show as device". Save it.
9) Press the gear on the right side of Home_Security, change the Type to "Safety Sensor" and activate the checkbox "Show as device". Save it.
10) Press the gear on the right side of Tilt Sensor, change the Type to "Door sensor or Windows Sensor" and activate the checkbox "Show as device". Save it.
11) Update the browser page
12) Open the Device Browser by pressing the magnifying glass
