These instructions will guide you to using Aeotec Smart Outlet with Homey Pro Hub. This will first require the installation of SmartThings app and Aeotec Smart Outlet before you can fully import Aeotec Smart Outlet into Homey.

Token Setup in SmartThings


To obtain access, you need an API token from your SmartThings account, which must first be created.


  1. Open Create Token.
  2. Login with your SmartThings Login.
  3. Create a new token by clicking on "Create new token" (if you already have a token).
  4. Give the token the name Homey.
  5. Select all fields under Devices.
  6. Confirm your selection with "Create token".
  7. Make a note of the token you have created - if you lose it, you can always create a new token if you forgot to save it.


Install Homey App "SmartThings Community" 


  1. Open Homey.app in any web browser.
  2. Search for the "SmartThings Community" app and install it.
  3. Open Homey App or its web UI.
  4. Go to the app settings and search for "SmartThings Community" App
  5. Tap on Configuration.
  6. Enter the token in the field provided in the section (Token Setup in SmartThings).
  7. Confirm with Save changes.
  8. Switch to the tab Detected and tap on "Get Devices".
  9. Close the configuration when the devices have been retrieved.


Create new device


  1. Open your Homey App.
  2. Switch to Devices.
  3. Tap + and new device.
  4. Select the SmartThings Community app.
  5. Select SmartThings devices.
  6. Confirm with Connect.
  7. Select your Cam360 to be displayed in Homey.
  8. Confirm with Continue.
