Follow the steps below to update Z-Stick 10 Pro Zigbee to V7.4.3 using Teraterm and a Windows PC. This will allow your Z-Stick 10 Pro Zigbee coordinator to be used with Zigbee2MQTT using the ember adapter supporting EZSP 13.
Requirements:
- Windows PC
- Z-Stick 10 Pro
1. Download Teraterm found in this github repository and install it: Releases ยท TeraTermProject/teraterm
2. Download the Z-Stick 10 Pro Zigbee Coordinator firmware update: https://aeotec.freshdesk.com/helpdesk/attachments/6216203237
3. Press and hold the Z-Stick 10 Pro button, at the same time, insert the Z-Stick 10 Pro into your Windows PC USB port.
4. Once inserted, release the button.
5. Open Tera Term software
6. Select "Serial", and choose the port "COMX: Silicon Labs Dual CP2105 USB to UART Bridge: Enhanced COM Port (COMX)"
7. Click on Setup -> Serial Port
8. Change Speed to 115200, then click on OK at the bottom.
9. Press the "Enter" key, then press "1" to begin the upload process. Immediately move onto step 10.
You have a short time while the interface is printing 'C', step 10 must be done before this stops.
10. Click on File -> Transfer -> XMODEM -> Send, then select the firmware update file "ZWA060_zigbee_v7.4.3.gbl" then click on OPEN.
Perform this while while the "upload" is still printing 'C' characters.
11. Wait roughly 1 minute and allow the firmware update to finish.
12. Press "2" to run the new firmware - a random message "{~" will appear to indicate a success.
13. You may now unplug the Z-Stick 10 Pro from your Windows PC.
